One of the favorite holidays of the people of Kazakhstan is the New Year. This holiday began to be celebrated on the territory of Kazakhstan in the middle of the 19th century, when Russian settlers settled here. The celebration of the New Year's Eve traditionally begins on the evening of December 31st. Mass festivities are held in cities and villages, and at the time of the New Year, fireworks are given. On the streets of cities you can meet Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden. Kazakhs call Father Frost Ayaz Ata, which literally translates as "Father Frost". A pleasant New Year's fuss covers everyone without exception. With impatience, excitement and joy, people are waiting for the onset of the gala night, and congratulations in all teams begin a few days in advance. Here we are not left behind.
