Math without formulas As part of the regional week of mathematical literacy, on March 27, 2023, a quiz on the topic “Mathematics without formulas” was held at the Karaganda Higher College “Bolashaq” among 1-4 courses. Purpose: Development of sustainable cognitive interest of students in the subject. The quiz consisted of 4 stages: 1. "Magic cells" 2. "Open question" 3. "Warm-up" 4. "Problems-troubles" The quiz included questions of various levels of difficulty, including PISA research tasks. 4 teams of 20 students participated, the Pythagoras group became the winner of the competition. The organizers of the event are mathematics teachers Zh. M. Abylgazy, B. A. Otarbaeva.
